Who we are

DexHQ is a product of Nerd Gear Gaming Inc., a company incorporated in Alberta, Canada. We are the party responsible for personal information handled through this website and through the DexHQ application.

Information we collect

Beta applications

When you apply for the DexHQ beta, we collect the information you submit in the application form — typically your name, email address, company name, website, and details about your business that help us assess fit for the beta programme. The form is hosted by Zoho, which processes and stores those submissions on our behalf.

Account information

If you are given access to DexHQ, we collect the information needed to create and administer your account, including name, email address, organisation, and the role and permissions assigned to you.

Business data you provide or connect

DexHQ exists to bring your operational data into one place. That includes inventory, purchasing, order, marketing, and royalty data that you enter directly or that we retrieve from services you choose to connect. This is your business data. We process it to provide the service to you and for no independent purpose of our own.

Website usage

This marketing site does not set advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Our hosting provider records standard server logs, which may include IP address, browser type, and pages requested, and which we use to keep the site available and secure.

Data from connected services, including Google

DexHQ can connect to third-party services on your instruction — for example advertising, ecommerce, and accounting platforms — in order to bring your own data into your DexHQ account. We only ever request the narrowest access needed for the feature you are using, and access is granted by you and revocable by you at any time through the relevant provider.

Where DexHQ accesses Google user data, including Google Ads reporting data, that access is used solely to retrieve advertising performance figures belonging to the connected account and present them within your own DexHQ instance. We do not use Google user data for advertising, we do not sell it, we do not transfer it to third parties except as necessary to provide the feature you requested or where required by law, and we do not allow humans to read it except with your explicit consent, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or where the data has been aggregated and de-identified.

DexHQ's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.

You can revoke DexHQ's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions page.

How we use information

• To assess and administer beta applications, and to contact applicants about the programme.
• To create, secure, and support user accounts.
• To provide the DexHQ service — computing inventory positions, purchasing recommendations, order and marketing reporting, and the other functions of the product.
• To communicate with you about the service, including changes, incidents, and support requests.
• To meet legal, accounting, and regulatory obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use your business data to train models or to build products for anyone other than you.

Service providers

We rely on a small number of providers to operate DexHQ — including cloud hosting, form and email services, and the platforms you choose to connect. These providers process information on our behalf, under contract, and only as needed to deliver their service. We do not authorise them to use your information for their own purposes.

Some of these providers operate outside Canada, which means personal information may be stored or processed in other countries and may be subject to the laws of those countries.

Retention

We keep beta application information for as long as the beta programme is running and for a reasonable period afterwards, unless you ask us to delete it sooner. Account and business data are retained for the life of your account and for a limited period after closure so that the account can be restored if the closure was in error, after which the data is deleted or anonymised.

Security

We protect information with measures appropriate to its sensitivity, including encrypted transport, access controls that limit data to the people who need it, and credential storage separated from application configuration. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not claim otherwise — but we take the handling of your operational data seriously, because losing it would matter.

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may ask us to give you a copy of the personal information we hold about you, correct it if it is wrong, delete it, or withdraw a consent you previously gave. Write to info@nerdgear.gg and we will respond within the time our governing legislation allows.

If you are in Canada and are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, or your provincial equivalent.

Children

DexHQ is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority in their jurisdiction.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product develops. When we do, we will revise the effective date above, and for material changes we will make reasonable efforts to notify account holders directly.
